Precious Kids School Structure>>>>

Precious Kids School is structured in a way to enable the child to achieve the lofty aims and objectives the school was set up, and building the child from adolescence. This Section is divided into three.

1.       Crèche / Kindergarten

2.       Nursery I and II

3.       Basic Section

1.       Crèche/Kindergarten:

This section is for pupils from age six months to 2years. We call it the Playgroup, Child Care School, Pre-school, Play school, Reception etc. The kids indulge in whole lots of scribbling, doodling, playing, chanting, identification, counting, writing, singing, rhymes, painting, music and memorizing etc, to develop their social and mental alertness.

2.       Nursery I:

This section is for children between 3 years and 4 years.  It is intended to serve as rounding-up class for courses started in 1 above. It is a kind of brushing up year, where the children finally comprehend the meaning of the various alphabets and numbers they have doodled in 1 above, including, speech training, songs, moulding, drawing, painting, poems/Rhymes etc.

Nursery II: In this class, we have children between 4 - 5years of age. The pupils are taught the rudiment of reading and writing before joining our Basic Section. This Class marks the starting of serious studies for your child. Your child is now made to appreciate the values of the letters and figures he or she has been studying. He or She now starts to manipulate numbers in arithmetic calculations and start to join letters into 2 and 3 letter- words in pronunciation. Some of the subject taught at this stage includes; Verbal, Quantitative reasoning, Health & Physical Education Phonetics, Social studies, Moral Instructions etc.

 3.       Basic/ Primary: 5 – 10/12 years

In this section, all academic activities of your child are monitored and supervised by our experience teachers who know the nitty-gritty of this stage, thus preparing your child towards inevitable role in leadership, the fundamental civil and technological approach to education needed for easy entrance into any secondary school of their choice. Some of the subject taught at this level include; English Language, Mathematics, Social Studies, Elementary Science, Health Education, Domestic Science, Physical Training, Computer studies, Visual art, French, Music, Yoruba, Phonetics, Dramatization,  Religious Studies( CRS and IRS), Moral Instructions, Verbal and Quantitative reasoning etc.

The curriculum is structured in such a way to encompass all the three domains in Education. (Affective, Psychomotor and Cognitive). Pupils in Basic/Primary 5 and 6 sit and write the Common Entrance Exam and other relevant Examinations conducted by the Federal Ministry of Education and Lagos State Examination board.
